Preping the nails

Nail Prep (This is the most crucial part)
The things you will need:

Steps

  1. Remove old polish or oils
  2. Wash hands, then wipe each nail with alcohol to remove oils
  3. Trim & file your natural nails: Keeping them short allows for better adhesion
  4. Push back cuticles gently: Don't cut them unless necessary this helps nails sit flat
  5. Lightly buff the nail surface: This is to remove the shine you don't want to over-buff the nail
  6. Final cleanse: Wipe nails again with an alcohol wipe(Your nails should be dry, matte, and oil-free.)

Applying Press-On Nails

You can use glue or adhesive tabs. However, nail Glue will give you the longest wear but adhesive tabs are good for new users.

  1. Apply a small dot of glue to your natural nail
  2. Add a thin layer to the press-on nail. For adhesive tabs: Press the tab onto your natural nail firmly and peel off the backing
  3. Place the nail at a 45° angle, starting at the cuticle
  4. Press down slowly to push out air bubbles
  5. Hold firmly for 20-30 seconds

How to Safely Remove Press-On Nails

Removal Method (This is the safest and easiest way)
Never rip or pop them off, this will cause nail damage.
Things you will need

Steps

  1. Soak nails in warm, soapy water or oil for 10-15 minutes
  2. Gently lift the edge with a cuticle stick
  3. Add more oil if needed and slowly wiggle off

If it resists, soak longer to prevents damage. To remove extra glue on nail after soaking, gently buff leftover glue do not scrape aggressively.

Post-Removal Nail Care

  1. Lightly buff nails
  2. Apply cuticle oil or nail strengthener
  3. Let nails breathe for a day before reapplying
